Vancouver-born Elaine began painting early, inspired by the elemental grandeur of British Columbia. With a Fine Arts degree from the University of Toronto, she won numerous graduate distinctions before emigrating to the UK and setting up her studio in rural West Wales in 2003, drawn by the elemental beauty of the sky, sea and landscape of Welsh Wales. She is a regular exhibitor at Aberglasney and is represented in galleries across Wales and in private collections in the UK, Europe and North America.
