This delightful stone cottage has been carefully restored to retain many original features whilst providing the comforts of modern living. Entrance into hallway and through to Spacious lounge which has an open beamed ceiling, oak floor boards with rugs, open fire, three piece suite, occasional furniture, colour TV and video. The Dining room has a large refectory style dining table with 6 chairs, Welsh dresser and items of occasional furniture.

The cosy kitchen which has an antique quarry tiled floor, range of fitted shaker style base units with spalted beech work tops, butlers sink, built in electric hob and oven, microwave oven, refrigerator and a dishwasher. The utility room houses the automatic washing machine/tumble dryer and central heating boiler.

There is an adjacent shower room with shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin. Carpeted stairs lead from the sitting room to the two bedrooms with antique furniture. Bedroom 1 has a high vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, a 5 foot iron bedstead that will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival, wardrobe, dressing table and comfy chair. Bedroom 2 also has a high vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, twin iron bedsteads that will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival, and bedroom furniture. The Bathroom has a white suite of bath, WC and wash hand basin. Towels are provided. There is gas central heating throughout the cottage. All fuel costs are included in the basic rental. A cot and highchair are available on request. Sorry no pets and no smoking in the property.

Coachmans Cottage

The Coachmans Cottage offers a truly special holiday destination. The property has recently been renovated to an extremely high standard and offers guests the chance to enjoy the gardens and mansion house, during normal opening hours at their leisure.

Entrance into the large open plan kitchen / dining room which has a lovely arched window overlooking the patio. The kitchen area is furnished with a range of hand made cupboards and units, oak work top, butlers sink, built in electric oven and hob, microwave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, automatic washing machine with combined tumble dryer and a quarry tiled floor. The dining area has a large refectory dining table and 6 chairs. The comfortable sitting room has an open beamed ceiling; two comfortable sofas, occasional furniture, colour TV and video.

There are two bedrooms upstairs. Bedroom 1 has a queen size "sleigh ended" bed, matching period bedroom furniture and an en-suite bathroom with suite of bath, overhead shower, WC and wash hand basin. The second bedroom has twin beds, bedroom furniture and an en-suite shower room with a shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin. The beds will be made up with fresh bed linen for your arrival and fresh towels are supplied. Throughout the cottage there are many interesting topical prints and pictures relating to the gardens and house. There is full gas central heating throughout the cottage. All fuel costs are included in the basic rental. Outside the cottage there is a paved and gravelled patio area with a wooden table and chairs and a separate parking space close to the cottage. Sorry No Pets and no smoking in the property. A cot and highchair are available on request.
