Orchid Study Group ~ Illustrated talk: ‘Orchids on the brink of extinction’ by Dr. Jack Wade of Swansea University

Dr. Jack Wade of Swansea University is an authority on the use of fungal molecular ecology to aid the conservation of the endangered Fen Orchid.
This talk is open to all and all are welcome
The Orchid Study Group will not charge for attending this talk, but normal admission to the Gardens applies to non-Members of Aberglasney. If you find that you enjoy the Orchid Study Group’s talks and events, then you may wish to become a Group Member at a cost of £20 per year.

About the Orchid Study Group
The Group was formed in 2005, is based in west Wales, and welcomes everyone with an interest in orchids. It is an autonomous society, established to promote a better understanding of orchid biology, conservation and cultivation. The Group holds monthly talks at Aberglasney given by botanists, horticulturalists and amateur growers who are experts in their own field. A highlight of Group’s 2019 programme is the Welsh Orchid Festival, to be held at Aberglasney on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September.
