Dr. Helen Millner, botanist and educationalist, is perhaps best know for her detailed macro-photography of orchid flower structure and educational exhibitions.
On entry to the talk, the Orchid Study Group will charge non-members of the Orchid Study Group £3. On entry to the Gardens, normal admission applies to non-members of Aberglasney. About the Orchid Study Group
The Group was formed in 2005, is based in west Wales, and welcomes everyone with an interest in orchids. It is an autonomous society, established to promote a better understanding of orchid biology, conservation and cultivation. The Group holds monthly talks at Aberglasney given by botanists, horticulturalists and amateur growers who are experts in their own field. A highlight of Group’s 2019 programme is the Welsh Orchid Festival, to be held at Aberglasney on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September.
