Art in the Mansion ~ Now We Are Nine

'Now we are Nine' is an eclectic group of artists and makers from across Wales, showcasing their work in a range of media to include: painting, print making, felt art, glass, jewellery, wood, metal work, sculpture and more! The group, organised by three established artists: Anita Woods, Ali Scott, Ag Cain, features a variety of exciting guest exhibitors. Now a resident of south west Wales, Robert (born 1965) had, until the end of last year, lived mainly under the vast skies of eastern England. In celebration of her exhibition at Aberglasney, Charlotte Leadbetter will be giving a talk in the main hall of the Mansion on Saturday 28th September at 10.30am. Workshops with the Head Gardener ~ Autumn propagation

October 3 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

This class covers propagation including hardy annuals, biennials, perennials and winter vegetables under glass. It will also include how to look after them and how to get tender perennials through the winter. Booking essential – places are priced at £55 for non-Members or £44 for Aberglasney Members. Phil Seaton, biologist, was formerly project manager for the Orchid Seed Stores for Sustainable Use (OSSSU) project at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
