Art in the Mansion – Naomi Bunker and Emlyn Hinton
March 27 - April 2
Naomi is a realist sculptor, working in clay- the clay sculptures are then kiln-fired or cast into bronze or high-quality plaster.
“I live and work from my farmhouse studio which is in a secluded beauty spot in Wales. The rugged landscape that surrounds me is inspiring for my artwork. I am a self-employed sculptor, taking on commissions and creating my own work to sell and exhibit. The subject matters that I enjoy working with are figurative and wildlife pieces; this seems to my forte. I have found the media most suitable for my work is modelling in clay and casting into bronze, and firing into ceramics ‘one-offs’. My work has it’s own realistic style and is detailed, with a theme of serenity. ”
Accompanied by the sounds of folk singer, Emlyn Hinton
