The Aberglasney Heritage Horticulture Traineeship ~ 2017 opportunity

As part of our Heritage Lottery Fund project, we are excited to be able to offer an Aberglasney Heritage Horticulture Traineeship starting in the New Year and lasting for nine months.

The Traineeship will give the trainee the foundation skills and experience required to kick-start a career in heritage horticulture or go on to further horticultural study. The training will be delivered by Aberglasney’s Head Gardener and Senior Horticulturalist & Trainer. The trainee will gain skills alongside other trainees at the Gardens, making it a great environment in which to share knowledge and experiences.

The Traineeship will include accredited part-time courses delivered by external providers to meet the trainee’s learning needs and comes with a tax-free bursary at a rate equivalent to £10,000 per annum, paid monthly.

If you would like to apply for the Traineeship, please submit an application form by Thursday 5th January 2017. Download an application form here: ahht-application-form
